It is an on-demand performance assessment that is administered by trained, certificated, or licensed school personnel. At this training, participants will learn about the CAPA, eligibility criteria, and how to administer the test as dictated by ETS. 							<description><![CDATA[<strong>Event Date:</strong> Mar 25, 2010<br \>The Merced County Office of Education is excited to invite you to our Fourth Annua<span style="color: #333300;">l </span><em><span style="color: #3366ff;"><span style="color: #333300;">Dinner with a Scientis</span></span><span style="color: #3366ff;"><span style="color: #333300;">t</span></span></em>. <span style="color: #ff6600;"><span style="color: #333333;">Space is limited so register early</span></span>. &nbsp;Each teacher who is involved will bring their selected fifth through eighth grade students for a first-hand opportunity to explore a profession in science that will spark enthusiasm and open minds.

<div>The program will include a short welcome, a keynote speaker and an informal table conversation between students and scientists. &nbsp;You will then have an opportunity to change tables to meet another scientist over dessert. &nbsp;The evening will conclude at 7:30 p.m.</div>
